Each One Teach One

Hulu
Hulu is a popular streaming service that many people around the world use. Hulu was launched in 2008 and is co-owned by major companies such as News Corporation, NBC Universal, Providence Equity Partners and The Walt Disney Company. The purpose of Hulu was to create and entertainment platform where people are able to watch their favorite shows. Hulu offers a great deal of things and even gives you the opportunity to upgrade and give you even more benefits that you would not get with a regular subscription. In 2010, Hulu launched "Hulu Plus" which gave people greater access to full shows and they announced this would be available on many different platforms such as iPhone, iPad, TV, etc. Hulu also started putting out original series which brought in a lot new customers and made this platform more exclusive than ever before. Overtime Hulu also added premium networks such as Showtime and HBO causing consumers to want to subscribe to Hulu. In 2015, Hulu expanded their business and offered customers a wider variety of TV shows and movies. They also launched a commercial-free plan which was a hit. This is a big deal considering there were not many platforms that offered this kind of service. Hulu continued to expand and keep up with trends and kept up with what their customers wanted to see. This is what made them one of the top streaming services in the country.
Hulu has many positives that make it a great subscription service to be a part of. First, it gives people access to a wide variety of TV shows and you do not have to wait for episodes which makes it easy to binge watch. It also has original content that no other streaming service offers. This can make customers feel unique and that they are getting a service they would not get with a different company. Hulu also offers a variety of plans that support the needs and wants of all of its customers.
Now Hulu also has some negative attributes to think about. First of all, they care a lot about money and have its customers paying for many different things. This can be frustrating and can even be dangerous. If you think about it, this company has access to all of its customers financial information as well as their personal information that they fill out when they first subscribe. This is a big privacy breech that some customers may have an issue with. They also do not offer a great selection of movies which may drive some movie fanatics to look else where for a streaming services that offers a good selection of both TV shows and movies. Lastly, Hulu only offers its services in the United States and Japan and it also does not let you stream offline. This also may cause customers to look else where because companies such as Hulu's competitor, Netflix, offers options to download any TV shows and movies that people may want to watch when not connected to internet.
